This spoon was forged from an 820 Silver Ingot. I crafted this by forging out the Ingot, forming the spoon and then drew down the handle using draw plates. Then I formed the handle back onto itself. All stretched out the piece would be about 4 feet long!

Unfortunately I was unable to document the remaining process. I was so involved in this portion, it required patience, aggression and hours of concentration.

This took around 35 hours to finish, a lot of patience. In the end it was very worth it. The piece is very delicate in the bowl section as it is formed thin. Funny story, while getting this piece photographed we shined it with a cloth and it bent because it’s so thin.
